Wooden recorder/flute care

I have a general question about caring for our Choroi flutes. I purchased them used, and they didn't include any care instructions. I understand I'm supposed to oil them, but I don't know how, or how often, and I've seen mixed information on what type of oil to use. Does anybody have an insert with instructions they can share? Thank you!
